4th JUNE 2019
WARSLOW VILLAGE HALL (Cheadle Road, Warslow, Nr Buxton, Derbyshire, SK170JJ).
10:00am - 3:30pm

Learn more about the wildflowers of the South West Peak and how to identify them with local expert ecologist, Penny Anderson and Glorious Grasslands project officer, Ann Cantrell.

The day will start off in the village hall where we will cover some basic principles and learn how to use a wildflower key.

In the afternoon we will head out into a nearby wildflower meadow where you will get to test out your ID skills and put into practice what you have learnt in the morning.

All equipment will be provided, but if you have a hand lens, weather writer and wildflower identification books then please bring them along.

Be prepared for the outdoors and make sure you bring suitable footwear and clothing as well as a packed lunch.

To participate in this training you must be a registered volunteer with the South West Peak Landscape Partnership.
