Seed Collecting Day (Warslow)

Glorious Grasslands
Event Name Seed Collecting Day (Warslow)
Start Date 21st Aug 2019 10:00 am
End Date 21st Aug 2019 3:00 pm
Duration 5 hours
Description

The Glorious Grasslands of the South West Peak need your help! Due to poor weather earlier in the season we need to make a big push to collect enough seed to help increase the number of species rich meadows we can seed. The best way to do this is with enthusiastic volunteers that want to come out and give these hay meadows a helping hand (or 2!).

Interested folks can meet at the Warslow Village Hall at 10:00am with seed collection continuing until 3:00pm, weather permitting.

Booking is required and you can email Ann Cantrell to book your place: Ann.Cantrell@peakdistrict.gov.uk

You don't need to be a registered volunteer to come to this activity but if you are interested head on over to our Volunteer page to learn more or to sign-up to get notices of future volunteer events and training's going on in your area.
