Come share the beautiful landscape of the Peak District’s South West Peak by joining our wildflower meadow walks with the Glorious Grasslands project officer, Ann Cantrell on National Meadows Day. Hear from the farmers who are championing wildflowers, species-rich grasslands and nature. David Lomas, whose family have lived and worked in the area for 300 hundred years, manages several spectacular ancient SSSI meadows that are bursting with colour and stories of old. Denis Moors looks after a mosaic of grasslands that are home to wading birds, specialist plants, fungi and insects, in a place he calls ‘Happy Valley’.
