About Andy

Andy is the Communications and Interpretation Officer and is responsible for the SWP website, Facebook and Twitter pages. He also generates content for the website and makes sure that everyone is using consistent language and communicating clearly across the various projects. His other duties include getting out and about to interpret the mission and goals of the Landscape Partnership to folks in the South West Peak and beyond. This includes offering guided tours at different locations, attending community events, and offering programs both at schools and out in the field.

Andy has a background in land management and interpretation with a BA and MA in Archaeology. He has worked in various locations throughout Central America and was previously employed for 6 years with the Florida Park Service where he developed interpretive programs on a variety of topics catering to young and old alike.

Originally from Florida in the US he and his wife moved to the UK in 2016 and have been enjoying the wonderful countryside and exploring as much as possible.

Andy never met a meat pie or beer he didn’t like and enjoys hiking, aviation, camping, diving and travelling as much as possible.
