The aim of Peak Land Lives is to tell the story of farming in the South West Peak from the viewpoint of those who live and breathe it.
We want to hear the personal testimony of the people who have farmed the land since the end of the Second World War.
Through listening to the memories and stories of farmers we hope to understand the changes that have affected the way people farm and how they felt about them at the time.
Well-known local authors, historians and photographers Sheila Hine and Christine Gregory will shape these memories and thoughts into a new full-colour book.
